Notorious kidnapper Evans’ N300m suit against police begins on July 13

The Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed July 13 for the hearing of N300m fundamental rights against Nigeria police

- Evans’ lawyer had last week filed the suit urging the court to order the police to charge him to court or release him immediately

- Evans was arrested in his Magodo house Lagos on June 10

The Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed July 13 for hearing in a N300m fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans, against the Inspector-General of Police.

Punch reports that Evans, through his lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, filed the suit last week urging the court to order the police to charge him to court or release him immediately.

Source gathered that he urged the court to award N300m damages against the police in his favour for his alleged unlawful detention without being charged to court.

A source at the court said on Wednesday July 5 that the case was initially assigned to Justice Babs Kuewumi, but was later returned to the court’s registry to enable it to be assigned to another judge who would hear it during the court’s long vacation.

The source said: “The case was assigned to Justice Kuewumi. But due to its nature, the judge felt it would be better handled by a vacation judge.
He felt it would not be ideal to adjourn it for hearing until after the long vacation in September.

“So, it was the judge who gave the parties the July 13 date to appear before the vacation judge after studying the file.”

In the suit, Evans is seeking a court’s order directing the respondents to immediately charge him to court if there is any case against him in accordance with sections 35 (1) (c) (3) (4) (5) (a) (b) and 36 of the constitution.

He is, in the alternative, seeking an order compelling the respondents to immediately release him unconditionally in the absence of any offence that will warrant his being charged to court.
Evans is contending that his continued detention by the respondents since June 10, 2017, without being charged to court or released on bail is an infringement on his fundamental human rights.

When The 55 Years old Honourable Ladi A.k.a Lado was leaving he got crowd following his cars shouting and hailing for reasons not disclosed but in order to be free and move away from the crowd his escorts has no option than to come down and started spraying bullets withing the crowd instead of shooting in the air, this went on for some minutes whereby an innocent boy was hit by some bullets.
all efforts made by the residents to save his life proves abortive as he finally gave up the ghost before getting rushed to the hospital.

This doesn't stop the securities of Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu From Shooting as they continue spraying from the Axis of Okede down to Osi In Ota.

This has left the whole community in pandemonium has the members of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) has also been invading the area.....

The Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, HRM Frederick Obateru Akinruntan was named the richest monarch in Nigeria.
Oba Akinruntan beat the likes of the Alaafin of Oyo, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Ooni of Ife and the likes to emerge the wealthiest monarch.
In the list which has the Ooni of Ife and the Alaafin, Oba Akinruntan was rated to have an estimated net worth of $300 million, while Oba Sijuade’s estimated net worth is about $75 million.
The Ooni of Ife has investments in construction, landed properties and oil while Oba Akinruntan is mostly into oil.
Oba Akinruntan is owner of the largest petroleum depot in Africa.
He also owns Obat Oil Company which he founded in 1981 alongside a gas station which has grown to over 60 gas stations across the nation.
Apart from Oil business, the Oba is also into real estate, with Hotels in Abuja, buildings both home and abroad.
He entered the history books in 2012 when he became the first black person to buy the 2014 model of Bentley which was accustomed only for Queen Elizabeth of England.

What My Father Did When Our Pastor Demanded His New Car as Seed – Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fash

In a shocking revealing message shared on his Instagram page, popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Yomi Fash-Lanso, dislcosed what his father did when a Pastor told him to sow his new car into his life.
While lamenting how some so called men of God would use God’s name to defraud their members, Yomi said his father left the church without waiting till the end of the day’s worship.
The actor who called on worshipers to be wise in order to know when God is actually speaking, wrote;
“When I was a kid, my dad bought a new car and drove us to church one Sunday. It was a prophetic service and our pastor was being used by God that day to deliver people from poverty.
“Suddenly, our pastor looked at my dad and said, ‘Mr. Alamu, God is set to bless you’ my mum jumped up and shouted excitedly, ‘Amen!’ My dad was excited too.
“The pastor then came closer, placed his hand on my dad’s head and prayed for him. As our pastor turned to climb the altar, the spirit of God told him something.
“He stopped, looked at my dad and said, ‘Mr. Alamu did you buy a new car last week?’ ‘Yes sir’ my dad responded with much surprise on his face.
“Then our pastor said, ‘God said I should tell you to sow your CAR KEY into my life’

“I was shocked that my dad did not argue with the pastor, he just put his hand in his pocket, brought out the car key and gave it to our pastor.
“After about 5 minutes, my dad stood up, went outside the church, he didn’t even wait till the end of the service. I could see him entering Okada going home. “He must be very worried” I reasoned in utter fear and confusion.
“After a while he returned to church with the SPARE KEY of his car and drove the car back to the house.
“I was so stunned at what I was seeing. So when I asked him why he acted that way he said, ‘Oluwayomi’ always use your brain, the pastor asked for the KEY and NOT the CAR!’
“Thanking you so much my BABA for impacting knowledge. So what can you say your own BABA TAUGHT YOU?”

Dammy Krane granted bail after meeting requirements.

Singer, Dammy Krane has reportedly been released from jail in the US jail after meeting his bail conditions which was set at $7500.
He was last Friday arrested for credit card theft, grand theft and identity fraud in Miami, USA.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded a trial by jury.
The singer has been assigned an attorney and is billed to appear in court on June 23, 2017.
His mother had blamed his troubles on the show promoter that booked his flight ticket while maintaining the innocence of her son.
